SYNOPSIS
The piece merges dance, sculpture and poetry, taking the work of María Jesús Bruna as a reference for its creation. Through contemporary dance, Violeta Borruel weaves this performance, using sculptures of Bruna as if they were part of herself and something strange at the same time, accompanied by the recurring music of Daniel López Bruna and the verses of W. Szymborska recited by the sculptor.
Happiness? Truth? Eternity? it is a personal journey of search, encounter and loss. It deals with the constant need and desire to achieve certain values and the unease generated by considering them non-existent and chimerical. With a physical and ethereal language at the same time, it creates a space for reflection on the expectations created and the impossible certainties.
